Pexim Cardinfo – Primary Sponsor of Technobank 2008

On April 9-10, “Technobank 2008” gathered once again leading IT companies specialised in business solutions for banks, insurance companies and other financial organizations. The venue of this international convention and exhibition was at the Belgrade Continental Hotel.

The primary sponsor of this event, Pexim Cardinfo, together with Pexim Solutions, Cardinfo Montenegro, Cardinfo BDS and Simt Cardinfo, presented their products and services implemented successfully in more than 40 banks of the region.

Managing Director of Pexim Cardinfo Miljan Mališ opened the convention at 10. a.m. and welcomed the guests and visitors. After a short overview of the local and regional banking markets, he gave a presentation under the title of “Banking Industry Trusted Partner”. Then Mr. Mališ referred to Pexim Cardinfo’s achievements in 2007 and company’s plans for future developments in the SEE region.

As the leading partner of most regional banks, Pexim Cardinfo presented solutions for products and services that would ensure quick access to the demanding market of bank services and focus on core business. Pexim Cardinfo displayed solutions for mini branch-offices, contactless payment systems, intelligent money deposit terminals, self-service devices for paying utility bills, pro-active maintenance and outsourcing.

At Pexim Cardinfo’s stand the visitors could see “drive up ATMs“ that would allow customers to deposit or withdraw cash or pay for utility bills from their cars/motorcycles. A ProCash 2350xe drive up ATM can be installed anywhere independently of weather conditions because it is equipped with temperature regulators that ensure operation at temperatures between -40C and +55C, in rainy, snowy or sunny weather.

For the first time in Serbia mobile phone users could see ATMs for settling their bills or paying for top ups on-line. Both the services were presented in LIVE environment allowing Technobank visitors to pay for their bills and top up their mobile phones. With this solution, called Bill payment & E top-up on ATMs, Pexim Cardinfo won the prestigious “Banking Technology Award“ for the best and most innovative solution of Technobank 2008.

Special guests of “Technobank 2008” were Pexim Cardinfo’s partners, Ms. Tanja Dullemann from Wincor Nixdorf and Mr. Marke Burke from Thales E Security who gave presentations.
